| Tantrum
are one of the most exciting young blues bands on
the scene today.
With
the band members not even into their twenties it's
hard to believe they can produce such mature sounding
music and play the blues as if they'd been doing so
for many years. Tantrum take inspiration from the
likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert King, Buddy Guy,
Rory Gallagher, ZZ Top and Eric Sardinas.
They
perform their own Blues/Rock material mixed with well
selected covers from various artists and have fused
all their influences together to create their own
fresh sound.

| It
has been far too long a gap since we have had the
pleasure of hearing this band at the club. They are
in great demand at venues and festivals across the
UK and rightly so.
The
band are led by the dynamic and soulful vocals of
Lorna Reilly, one of the strongest voices on the circuit,
and accompanied by fellow ex-Roadhouse guitarist Jules
Fothergill on rhythm, lead and slide guitar.
Now
a 4-piece, after the departure of Marc Le Guerrannic,
they are ably assisted by the superb rhythm section
of Hayden Doyle on drums and, most recent recruit,
Ian Mauricio on bass.
Fresh
from a gig at the Maryport Festival, this is a gig
not to missed.

| The
more observant of you will recognise Matt as the fine
guitarist that formed part of the band backing Dani
Wilde on her debut performance at the club back in
April.
Personally,
I was left wanting to hear more from this talented
guitarist and was, therefore, delighted to hear that
Matt has his own, established band who play regularly
on the London Blues scene.
Matt
is a funky blues guitarist who also possesses a soulful
voice and writes most of the band's original material.
His passionate and expressive playing is likened to
the styles of Freddie King, Buddy Guy and B.B.King.
He
is described as a blues treasure ready to be discovered,
a real shining hope for British Blues.
Come
and see why.

| Jerimiah
and his band made such an impact on their debut at
the club back in April that I have had many requests
for them to return - so here they are !!
We
were treated to a mesmerising mix of blues, roots
and reggae music from Guyanan born Jerimiah in his
own very special style with his band, The Blue Aces,
demonstrating the breadth and diversity of their musical
skills.
Expect
to see Jerimiah produce his trademark stool and sit
with his legs wrapped around an African drum as the
band launch into some trademark Caribbean numbers.
Jerimiah's
band always consists of the very best musicians on
the circuit and include vastly experienced Pete Nash
on Keyboards and occasional slide guitar and the superb
Steve Weston on harmonica.

| It
is always a pleasure to welcome back vocalist and
guitarist Johnny Keiran and his band.
This
long established outfit play a fusion of Blues, Jazz,
Swing, Funk and rock to create a very pleasing, warm
style of Chicago Blues and are given an edge by having
one of the best harmonica players around in Tom McCree.
Lead
guitar duties fall to John Jnr. with the very able
rhythm section comprising Malcolm Pounds on drums
and new recruit Terry Duggan on bass.
